How to consolidate your group before creating a Xero ledger
This can take some managing, as there are many factors to consider
Group details
When consolidating a group, many factors need to be considered.
To get started, this sheet might help you plan.
Watch this video to understand how to use it (for yourself or for us).
Consolidate the group
The next step would be the consolidation process.
We recommend using an app for this.
Check out some options here, or just use excel or sheets.
Translucent consolidation app for FREE
Translucent offer a FREE subscription to Xero Partners.
See our article on Translucent.
Xero Ledger
To use our systems or service, a Xero needs to be set up with the consolidated group balances.
This means using the solutions above and then downloading the final consolidated balances into CSV / XLSX and then posting into Xero via manual journal.
See article on importing balances.
