QBCC Portal For Annual Reporting & MFR

Q - Can MFR be lodged via the portal?

A - Unfortunately, only annual reporting submissions can be lodged online via myQBCC portal at this stage.  MFR Reports need to be emailed to MFRQueries@qbcc.qld.gov.au or delivered/posted to a QBCC office.

Q - When amounts are input, does the portal warn when the NTA or working capital is deficient?

A - If a licensee’s annual reporting submissions shows that NTA and/or current ratio is deficient, QBCC would alleviate the risk to the industry in deciding whether or not to proceed with regulatory action.

If the licensee has significant actual revenue, and is substantially deficient, it is likely that there is a high risk to the industry if we do not act.

If the licensee has low revenue and there are no other factors of concern present (such as monies owed complaints, defective works etc), then it may be that QBCC advises the licensee of the deficiency, and suggests that the licensee seek professional advice to improve the financial position moving forward.
