How do I add financial instruments in Xero
Learn how to insert the financial instruments in Xero
The template we have provided has a financial instruments section at the bottom of the notes.
You need to insert the assets and liabilities that fall into the definition of financial instruments:
any contract that gives rise to a financial asset of one entity and a financial liability or equity instrument of another entity.
The most common being:
Assets
- Bank accounts
- Trade receivables
- Related party loans
- Advances to other entities
- Shares / investments
Liabilities
